Yesterday, residents of Great Wall Gardens in Athi River protested over water shortage in the area.
The group of angry residents confronted a Chinese contractor identified as “Mr Yang” who they blame for their dry taps.
They also accused Mr Yang’s assistants of being extremely rude and unhelpful. Intimidated by the presence of cameras, he had no other option but to cooperate and agree to hold a meeting with the residents at his office.
