Adsalam Walkman had been in prison since 2013 and was serving a 10-year jail term but was freed in January after a presidential pardon. Walkman was found guilty of cultivating 60 stems of marijuana by Embu Principal Magistrate Samuel Mutai. The 28 year old had asked the court to give him two sentences six years ago when he was first convicted, arguing that if he were to serve the two terms, then the police shouldn't arrest him again for the repeat offense. He also threatened to continue his illegal cultivation of marijuana once he was released from...
