Corrections policy

Mistakes happen. When we make one, we fix it on the record.

How we correct

• Every published post has a version history at /p/{id}/versions — every edit is logged with the editor's note.
• Material corrections add a "Correction:" note to the top of the article.
• Headline-level errors are corrected in place; the original wording is preserved in the version log.
• Stories that are entirely wrong are retracted with a public note explaining what happened.

Email [email protected] or use the "Report" button below any post. We aim to acknowledge correction requests within 24 hours.
