The nearly three‑minute bit features him as an over‑the‑top megachurch pastor at the fictional “Collect & Praise Ministries,” surrounded by smoke, lights, and a stadium‑like congregation while Kirk Franklin’s gospel hit “Revolution” plays.
The skit opens with Druski suspended above a packed sanctuary, referencing real‑life “flying pastor” viral clips, as worshippers cheer and wave their hands.
On stage, he calls up an older couple, jokes about “impregnating” the congregation with the Word of God, and triggers a wild praise break where the crowd chants along.
A key scene shows him demanding that the church raise millions in offerings “before anyone leaves,” praising a member for giving his life savings, before cutting backstage to Druski joyfully kissing stacks of cash.
Within 24 hours, the video had drawn millions of views, nearly 3 million likes, and more than 200,000 comments on Instagram alone.
Therefore, quickly spilling over to TikTok, X and reaction channels dissecting every moment.
Why the skit sparked debate
Reaction to the megachurch skit has been sharply divided.
Critics, including some Christians and churchgoers, say the video crosses a line by mocking Christianity and making light of faith, accusing Druski of disrespecting God for laughs and profit.
Supporters counter that the skit targets exploitative behaviour, not faith itself, arguing it satirises pastors who turn worship into performance and offering time into high‑pressure fundraising.
