This is getting insanely out of hand. We have previously accused the Director General of Communications Authority of Kenya Francis Wangusi for getting bribes so as to look the other way, and turn a blind eye towards the flagrant abuse of media laws and ethics in the country. For instance, there are rules that should guide advertising, a reason why alcohol companies aren't allowed to advertise before 9pm . There are also rules cracking down on cigarette companies and their misleading adverts. So why is CAK, the Media Council of Kenya and Ezekiel Mutua silent as betting companies engage in deceptive marketing showing it as trendy and legitimate?
