There was a light moment in court earlier this afternoon as Elgeyo Marakwet County Senator Kipchumba Murkomen got schooled by Chief Magistrate Douglas Ogoti.
This was after Murkomen unsuccessfully attempted to justify their decision (Sonko's defence team) of bringing an ailing person to court.
“Do you know why am smiling?”, Ogoti asked Murkomen.
“No”, he answered “It's because you don't practice in this Court. The order was given at a Machakos court that any accused person appears in court singularly. Keep that order, it will help you one day if you would wish to practice. You didn’t have to disturb a sick person from hospital, I still would have gone ahead and given directions. ” Here is the video below.
