A concerned social media user took to Twitter on Saturday evening to warn consumers that artificial eggs had entered the Kenyan market.

Lately, videos have been spreading across Africa with consumers complaining of artificial food in the stores. From plastic fish, to plastic rice and now plastic eggs.

In the video, the lady demonstrates how she discovered all was not well with the eggs she had bought at a kiosk outside their estate in Lang'ata and warned Kenyans to be careful of what they consume.
