[ad_1] President Kenyatta said his administration takes seriously its responsibility of ensuring that all Kenyan children are accorded equal opportunity to all aspects of life including education without discrimination/FILE – PSCU By Capital FM , NAIROBI, Kenya, Nov 15 – President Uhuru Kenyatta was Friday scheduled to meet political leaders from his Mt Kenya political bedrock at the Sagana State Lodge in forum set to discuss the region’s development agenda. It is understood that lawmakers from the region – both national and county – as well as county chiefs from ten devolved units were invited by county commissioners to attend the forum. The meeting coming three weeks since the competition of the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report which is yet to be formally presented to the Head of State, and a week after he cancelled a scheduled visit to Muranga has spiraled jitters over the direction the region takes. BBI, President Kenyatta’s joint unity initiative with opposition leader Raila Odinga following a March 2018 truce is expected to recommend measures to address recurring political violence during elections.
