Police discover Firearms/Ammunition while on auction mission

KILIMANI SUB COUNTY KILIMANI POLICE STATION OB.NO. 32/21/06/22 AT 1815HRS SUBJECT: RECOVERY OF FIREARMS/AMMUNITION/ FIREARM COMPONENTS INCIDENT REPORT Police officers who were providing security services vide court order misc app. no E598 of 2022 issued to Ballon Wanjala Nangalama T/A Hebros auctioneers to break in and remove the proclaimed goods belonging to the tenant namely Ken Lugwili of VIC technologies limited and issue notification of sale for purpose of auctioning to recover rent arrears totalling to ksh.4,962,990 plus other incidental costs of the attachment.The auctioneers broke into the said office and in one of the rooms was discovered to be having a standard armoury where the following arms, ammunitions, and assortment of firearm-related items were seized Ken Lugwili of VIC technologies limited 1. 9- escort magnum short guns s/no 485193,485202,485196,485195,485194,485200, 485204,485197,485207 2. 1-Benelli short gun s/no 077732w14 3. 5-guatro short gun s/no 061827786,061827788,061827749,081600137and 061827727. 4. 1-savage short gun s/no.2037. 5.  6pistols: Walther s/no 214874with 2 magazines,sasilmaz s/not110214j00147with 2magazines, revolver s/no218436, smith s/no.517x4austia s/no.hhu769 with 2 magazines,ceska s/noj3977and one empty magazine(pistol) a total of 565 ammunition of assorted different calibres 72 medium, and 45 small tins of pointed head pellets, 2tins of Eley wasp 25 pistol holster 9double magazine carrier's 6  single magazine carriers 30slings 5 sniper ultimate 10sniper torches certificate of registration as a firearm dealer (formio) expired Nairobi city county business permit no1476629 2firearm movement register and assorted firearm manuals 3frames of firearm display 9 firearm handles 12 studs 7spacers 15 flash aiders 7 firearm spanners 2 firearm cleaning brushs 4 plastic bipod stand and other assorted office documents.the recovered items were escorted to Kilimani police station. The scpc, sccio were informed. Other specialized units came in , atpu, csss, photographic, and ballistic. Case taken over by atpu with all exhibits. The scene is currently being guarded and will be revisited tomorrow
