Hi Nyakundi,

I was once an employee of Vivo Woman (formerly Vivo Activewear) and I have read your article on how the company treats its employees . I am so happy someone finally spoke up because there is no worse place to work than Vivo Woman.

I was fired without notice or anything and replaced almost immediately. Overworked and underpayed The company overworks its employees and underpays them so badly. They used to pay me peanuts and I still have friends there who till this day get those same peanuts. No matter how hard you work, Vivo, or more specifically, Wandia Gichuru just wants you to make her money for her luxurious vacations, as you can see by her instagram. Instagram It's like the Gestapo If you brought up an issue about your salary, you were fired or found yourself replaced. We had no free space to even express ourselves. It was a very toxic environment for any human being to work in.

They are taking advantage of people so much in every shape and form.

There was constant emotional and mental abuse a number of us faced there and even though I do not have a job right now, I am more at peace than when I was working there.

All the money in the world could never make me go back to that place again. I hope and pray that the employees at Vivo Woman finally speak up about this and stand up for themselves. I know it might be very difficult but her reign of terror has to end. The employees will be silenced about the matter and asked to either not speak of it or lie about the reason why the person in question was fired.

This is how Vivo Woman will crumble: because of mistreatment of employees.

Period!
