Kenyan security and anti-terrorism expert Mwenda Mbijiwe is missing.

Acording to posts seen by nyakundireport.com, Mbijiwe went missing on Saturday en route to Meru.

Mbijiwe is a prominent security consultant and CEO of Eye On Security who often give interviews on National television.

According to court documents, on March 28, 2019, at an unknown place within Nairobi County, Mbijiwe reportedly conned Fadhili Abdi Mohamed.

Mbijiwe had misled Mohammed into believing that he was in a position to secure employment for his sister Shamso Abdirahman at the United Nations, once he received the money.

Appearing before magistrate Martha Mutuku at the Milimani Law Courts , however,  Mbijiwe denied the charges and pleaded not guilty.

He was released on Ksh.50,000 cash bail.

In 2017, Mbijiwe ran for the Meru Gubernatorial seat unsuccessfully.

He was initially in Jubilee but ditched the ruling party in favour of ODM after accusing the former of favoritism.
