KAA Responds To Cyprian Nyakundi Over Suspended Staff Medical Scheme

Kenya Airports Authority has clarified the issue concerning suspension of their staff medical cover. Through a statement sent to CNYAKUNDI. COM, the corporation agrees that their medical scheme with Britam expired, but insists that employees can still access services at selected medical facilities. 'The correct position is that Britam acted to suspend the contract after it did not reach a consensus with management of KAA over premiums rates. Under the circumstances, the management of KAA promptly negotiated direct relationships with the hospitals affected to allow employees to access medical services.
