This morning a video circulating online has sent waves of disbelief as Lawrence Malong Yor Jnr, stepson to South Sudan warlord General Paul Malong accused by the UN of presiding over mass killings, rapes and using child soldiers in South Sudan met with members of the Kenya University Students'Organization.

In the 30 second clip, Mr Malong declares to ‘support’ KUSO with all his might as the members cheer on.

Lawrence, a high school graduate with no degree or background in business, lives a questionably extravagant lifestyle of private jets, luxury hotels and first class travel and unapologetically flaunts his wealth on social media insisting he is “blessed”.

Lawrence and his stepfather appeared on Citizen TV on Sunday to respond to an exposé linking them to the war in South Sudan. Jeff Koinange who hosted them, received heavy criticism from Kenyans who felt that he was giving criminals a platform to spew their bullshit.

The Kenyan government has allowed the two freely roam around the country despite being heavily linked to the complicity in widespread atrocities committed during the country's bloody two-year civil strife. His meeting with KUSO members fuels the already burning question of his intent in the country.

Here is how Kenyans reacted.
