The year is divided into two periods. The green season runs from January to June, while the high season runs from July to December.

Fees are payable daily, per person, and you must carry identification such as a passport, national ID, or work permit. Tickets are available at KAPS offices in Nairobi or at designated entry gates within the reserve. Entry Fees for Non Residents Non-resident visitors pay higher rates than citizens and East African residents. The charges are split between adults, children, and students. Children below eight years enter free of charge.
