[ad_1] On May 1st 2019, former Internal Security Minister Chris Ndarathi Murungaru won a court case of defamation in which he was suing former anti-corruption czar John Githongo for linking him to corruption. The court presided by Justice Joseph Sergon slapped Githongo with a Ksh27 million for defamation. Githongo had exposed the plundering and looting of public funds in 2002.
