The arrest of the five female teachers Everline Moraa, Gladys Kanyanya, Angelicia Joseph, Moraa Nyairo and Cathrine Mokaya, and one male teacher, William Isoka, was confirmed by Nyamache OCPD, Kipkulei Kipkemboi.
According to the police, the teachers were taken into custody after a visit to the school by Nyamache Sub-County Director of Education, Linet Onduso and Ministry of Education officials.
The police have not yet released any information on the charges that may be preferred against the teachers, but they have assured the public that a full report on the matter will be provided.
