The men in uniform are said to have invaded LSK offices along Gitanga Road on Monday, 2 August and laid a siege on the entire compound. According to social media posts published by distinguished lawyer and former State House speechwriter Eric Ngeno, the officers were unable to explain their mission and only gave a vague explanation that they were "on assignment".
