Besiktas sack Solskjaer after their painful exit from European football. The Turkish club removed the Norwegian coach on Thursday after a second-leg loss against Swiss side Lausanne in the UEFA Conference League play-off. A 1-0 defeat in Istanbul meant Besiktas went out 2-1 on aggregate. Club leaders met urgently after the game and agreed to part ways with Solskjaer.
