Baktash Akasha Baktash Akasha, the son of a notorious drug trafficker who was sentenced to 25 years in prison three years ago, is facing robbery-with-violence charges in Mombasa. Baktash, who was a minor at the time of his father's arrest in 2014, appeared before a Mombasa court to attend extradition proceedings. This week, the 22-year-old had his day in court to answer to robbery-with-violence charges that could see him land in prison for the rest of his life. Baktash appeared in court dressed in a cream-dotted T-shirt and with his face partially covered by a mask but remained calm as the charges were read out to him.
