Yesterday I was walking around Pipeline Estate and I was pickpocketed without realising and lost my Equity bank ATM card, my Coop Bank ATM card.
I had those cards until around 10 am morning. I didn't check those cards until 3 am when I was woken up by phone messages.
To check I found that from my Equity Bank a transaction of Ksh 5, 400 was made. The another ATM withdrawal of Ksh 20,000 made at 3 am. While I was on phone call with Equity to let them stop, another transaction of Ksh 2700 was made around Buruburu.
At this time I was sleeping at Utawala. So I stopped the card immediately with Equity. I called coop bank and enquired. They told me there was an attempted access to my account but didn't go through.
In the morning I went to my branch Donholm, and they told me that I gave out my pin. I am not even married and don't have any girl living in my house or visiting me. I am sure I didn't give anyone my pin.
Equity is using this to conceal their weak security system. I am sending the transaction references

All those transactions were made at a time someone should sleep. I am sure the thief worked with Equity staff member

I am not the one who complained alone. If you can access Equity bank Doholmn branch, you will bare me, witnesses.
This is too much to bear as a jobless graduate who does manual work to do such savings

Somebody withdraw money from ATM, it should have CCT camera footage. They should apprehend that person to produce people stealing our savings.
I am walking around Donholm I hope if I settle I will ponder over this and even send more details.
