Brenda Mbathi, CEO of TRIFIC SEZ, has announced that Centum's TRIFIC Green USD I-REIT has hit its target and closed at 103.3% subscription, raising nearly KSh4 billion in investor commitments.

The dollar-denominated fund attracted bids worth about KSh3.99 billion against a target of KSh3.86 billion, signalling strong appetite for hard-currency real estate investments amid continued pressure on the shilling. The fund will be backed by the TRIFIC North Tower, which is already about 90% leased to international firms.
