The High Court has temporarily stopped any sale or transfer of Two Rivers Mall and its adjoining office towers pending arbitration in a commercial dispute involving My Spectrum Assets Management Kenya Limited, Two Rivers Lifestyle Centre Limited, and Stanbic Bank Kenya Limited.
In a ruling delivered by Justice Moses Ado, the court ordered all parties to preserve the status quo and barred completion of any transaction involving the property until arbitration proceedings are concluded.
However, the court clarified that negotiations and due diligence may continue as long as they do not result in a transfer or disposal of the assets.
The dispute centres on ownership interests, financing arrangements, and property management rights tied to one of East Africa’s largest mixed-use developments located along Limuru Road in Nairobi.
