Outgoing TSC CEO Nancy Macharia whom the 'system' wants to unlawfully give another 5 years at the helm so as to continue destroying teachers'. The Law Society of Kenya has moved to court to resist this impunity and homeguardism. It might be that her hand can be seen in the way a tribe-mate at the Registrar of Trade Unions is quick to act on KNUT to 'correct illegalties' and not on any other union. Kubai too comes from Central Kenya.

First, the guy in the office is very arrogant and unprofessional. Secondly, a lot of corruption was embraced. We overheard the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) officials negotiating the amount of the few allocated slots. Thirdly, the locals were not given opportunity to apply; since he comes from Somali he went and brought people of his tribe to apply limiting our chances yet other sub counties barred non-locals Fourthly, he prepared the merit in the bedroom which is against the tsc regulation for recruitments We emailed our complaints to TSC but nothing has been done to date. If things continue like these, we will be left with no option but to storm the office.
