On April 28, 2020, Kenya reported a significant increase in COVID-19 cases, bringing the total to 374.

According to Health Chief Administrative Secretary Rashid Aman, 11 new infections were recorded, with 7 cases reported in Nairobi and 4 in Mombasa.
