January 7, 2020, marked a significant day in the world of football as Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe was named the world's most valuable player.
At just 21 years old, Mbappe has been making waves in the football world with his impressive performances for Paris Saint-Germain, scoring 18 times in all competitions.
Despite being linked with a transfer to Liverpool and Real Madrid, Mbappe's valuation suggests that any potential buyer will have to cough up a world-record fee to land him.
The CIES Football Observatory has compiled a list of the most valuable players in each of Europe's top five leagues - Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, and Ligue 1.
Mbappe tops the list, ahead of England and Manchester City star Raheem Sterling (£190m) and Liverpool's Mohamed Salah (£149m).
Other notable English players in the top 15 include Harry Kane, Marcus Rashford, and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
