Published on January 6, 2020, Willis Raburu, a Citizen TV news anchor, shared his love story with Talk Central.
According to Raburu, he met his wife Mary Ngami Raburu in church, Jubilee Christian Church (JCC), through his friend Pablo.
However, at the time, Raburu was already in a relationship with Sally Mbilu, whom he had proposed to and even purchased a Ksh.100,000 engagement ring for.
After ending things with Sally, Raburu decided to pursue Mary, but he was unsure if her love was genuine or if she was drawn to him for his fame.
It wasn't until Raburu fractured his leg that he realized Mary's true character. She stood by him during his recovery, and he knew she was the one for him.
The couple eventually tied the knot in a low-key wedding ceremony in 2017, surrounded by close family and friends.
