Tecno Phantom X Pro, Tecno Camon 17 Pro, Infinix Note 10 Pro, and Others Get ARCore Support ¶
Google has added three new smartphones to its list of ARCore-supported devices, including the unannounced Tecno Phantom X Pro. The Tecno Camon 17 Pro and Infinix Note 10 Pro are among the devices that can now experience augmented reality applications.
ARCore is a platform provided by Google to developers to build AR experiences for Android devices. For a device to be ARCore-supported, it must receive certification from Google. This means that users can experience AR applications on their devices as intended by the developers.
The Tecno Phantom X Pro has not yet been launched, but it is expected to be available early next month. The Tecno Camon 17 Pro, on the other hand, is a familiar device in the local market. The Infinix Note 10 Pro is currently being reviewed by the team, with a first impressions video available on YouTube.
Other devices that have joined the ARCore support club include the Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note Pro, which became available in the country in April. The Tecno Pova 2, the 5G variant of the Samsung Galaxy A22, and the Samsung Galaxy A72 have also been certified for ARCore support.
