On December 18, 2019, Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha announced the release of the 2019 Form Four national exam results.
At a press conference held at the Kenya National Examinations Council headquarters in Nairobi, Prof Magoha revealed that 125,746 candidates scored C+ and above, while 627 candidates achieved the top grade, A.
The exams, which were written by over 600,000 candidates between November 4 and 27, marked a significant milestone in the transition from secondary school to university and college.
Prof Magoha briefed President Kenyatta on the results at State House in Nairobi before making the announcement to the public.
