On a remarkable day in December 2019, a Michigan court witnessed an extraordinary scene as a 5-year-old boy, Michael, attended his adoption hearing accompanied by his entire kindergarten class.
The presiding judge was taken aback by the large audience, admitting that he had never hosted such a crowd in the courtroom before.
