On a chilly December evening, Brighton's Graham Potter orchestrated a memorable 2-1 win over Arsenal at Emirates Stadium, leaving Freddie Ljungberg's side reeling in their second match under the Swedish interim manager.

Published on December 6, 2019, the match marked a torrid start to the season for the Gunners, who now sit 10th in the league standings with 19 points, four off relegation.

Freddie Ljungberg's first match as interim manager ended in a 2-2 draw at Norwich the previous weekend, and he was desperate to turn around Arsenal's campaign with a win.

However, the home match did not go according to plan, with Brighton snatching all three points from the north London club.

The visitors took a deserved lead through Adam Webster, who thumped home in the 36th minute after Arsenal failed to clear from a corner.

Alexander Lacazette drew the hosts level in the 50th minute with a clinical header off a corner, but the Gunners thought they had taken the lead 13 minutes later through David Luiz, only for the Brazilian's effort to be ruled out for an offside.

With just 10 minutes left to stoppage time, Neal Maupay restored the Seagulls' lead, getting on the end of Mooy's cross to make it 2-1.
