The Human Side of Working with an IT Company ¶

As I reflect on the past year, I'm reminded of the overwhelming sense of stress that came with working from home full-time during the pandemic. As CEO of Solid Systems, an IT support company, I had to navigate the challenges of managing our infrastructure, teams, and clients while being physically close to my family but emotionally distant.
However, I was fortunate to have an amazing team behind me. Our Technical Team, Customer Success team, and everyone at Solid Systems came together to ensure that everything ran smoothly, and I could focus on what mattered most – spending time with my loved ones.
Less than a week after the pandemic hit, I could feel the stress lifting off my shoulders, thanks to the technology we implemented and the support of my team. Tools like Microsoft Azure storage, Microsoft Planner, and MyAnalytics became our foundation for success, and platforms like Teams kept us connected.
Today, I have more time to focus on what matters most – my family and personal goals. I believe that every person should have this opportunity, and that's why I'm passionate about Solid Systems' approach to business – looking at what makes us human in a digital world and celebrating it.
When you don't have to worry about the state of your infrastructure, you can focus on what means the most to your business and to you as an individual. That's the human side of technological advances, and it's what we love to see at Solid Systems.
