On Tuesday last week, gospel artiste Fay Tall announced the passing of Renny Rono, a Kericho bodybuilder who had been battling a strange ailment. The news sparked a wave of speculation about the cause of his death, with some reports suggesting that he may have died from a Synthol injection.
However, according to Fay Tall, the doctors who attended to Renny did not conclude that he died from a Synthol injection. In a lengthy post, Fay Tall wrote, 'A lot of stories have been written about Renny and a lot of judgments have been made by several people, but remember we are all human and we make mistakes and do whatever it takes to survive.'
Renny's story is one of struggle and perseverance. As an orphan, he turned to bodybuilding as a way to earn a living and support his sibling. Despite his efforts, he developed muscle hypertrophy, and his situation took a turn for the worse. He was taken to the hospital, where a series of examinations were conducted, but no pathology was found. The doctors only suspected a Synthol injection, but no medication worked for him, and he sadly passed away.
Fay Tall has appealed to the public to support Renny's family in settling his bills and giving him a befitting burial. The burial will take place this Saturday at their home in Chemosot, Bureti constituency, Kericho County. Donations can be made through Pay bill number 763424 and account number your name.
