Governor Anne Waiguru has fired back at Deputy President William Ruto, accusing him of encouraging his allies to insult other leaders.
Waiguru, who hosted Interior CS Matiang'i at a fundraiser in Kirinyaga on Friday, asked Ruto to emulate his own sentiments and warn his allies against insulting others.
"The same way Ruto warned Matiang'i about speaking for Uhuru, he should also warn his people against insulting others," Waiguru said.
Waiguru also warned that those insulted will be forced to retaliate, and that all leaders have been elected to serve by the people of Kenya.
"The same pinch you feel when insulted is the same pinch someone feels when you insult them," Waiguru blasted the DP.
