On November 28, 2019, Credit Bank announced a partnership with Women In Business Kenya (WIB) to support women in business and spur the Kenyan economy.

The bank's focus on women-led businesses aims to enhance gender inclusivity by enabling the growth and development of women in the business sector.

"We have come up with structures, products, and services tailored to suit women's needs," said Pamela Mutembei, the bank's head of business.

Through the partnership, Credit Bank will provide loan products with favourable collateral requirements, social support networks, and mentorship forums for women entrepreneurs in Kenya.

Ms. Mutembei emphasized the importance of women's participation in the business world, stating, "When women make up half the world, they should also make up half the business world. A more tolerant, diverse, and creative business landscape will better equip us to tackle future challenges."

The partnership aims to address the challenges faced by women entrepreneurs and contribute to the country's economic growth.
