Explicit 'Twa Twa' Sermon Sparks Debate ¶
On Monday, a video of Pastor Susan Munene of Overcome Ministries went viral after she gave a sermon on matters of the bedroom.
Unless you live under a rock, you've probably watched the video that has since birthed the newest catchphrase in town, 'Twa Twa'.
Speaking from her own experience, Pastor Munene said she and her husband, also a preacher, get intimate everywhere, including in the car and in the kitchen.
She described sex using the words 'Twa Twa' and thrusts her hips animatedly, saying 'Kama kuna kitu inatufanya tukue kitu kimoja na pastor ni sex, us we can have sex anywhere, kwa gari… twa twa, Kitchen… twa twa everywhere.'
The video sparked a heated debate on social media, with Nairobi governor Mike Sonko weighing in, saying 'Nisawa “Twa Twa” but County Government of Nairobi won't allow “Twa Twa” in public especially in CBD.'
