Fibroids are abnormal growths that develop in or on a woman’s uterus. They can cause severe abdominal pain and heavy periods, but in some cases, they may not cause any symptoms at all. The growths are typically benign, or noncancerous, and the cause of fibroids is unknown.
Grace's story serves as a reminder of the importance of seeking medical attention and support for women who are struggling with fibroids. Her bravery in sharing her experience is an inspiration to many.
