On a particularly challenging week in November 2019, Josphat found himself in the midst of tough conversations with his family members, including his brother Kimathi, who had been avoiding him.

His mother's visit, which came without warning, was a catalyst for these difficult discussions. By the third day of her stay, she was already inquiring about Josphat's progress in speaking with his brother, to which he replied that he had not yet had the opportunity.

Undeterred, Josphat's mother pressed on, asking how difficult it could be to speak with his brother. Josphat explained that Kimathi was known to be elusive and had even been avoiding their mother as well.

As the reality on the ground became clear, Josphat realized that his brother had been avoiding him, with numerous calls going unanswered and only texts promising to call back.

With his mother refusing to leave until the issue was resolved, Josphat decided to take matters into his own hands. He tracked down Kimathi to his last known residence, only to find a stranger who had recently moved in.

After receiving directions to Kimathi's new location, Josphat arrived at his brother's doorstep, where he was greeted by a young-looking pregnant woman who seemed hostile. However, upon learning that Josphat was Kimathi's elder brother, she agreed to fetch him.

Kimathi eventually arrived, looking disheveled, and Josphat quickly came up with a plan to get him to sign an affidavit. He told Kimathi that he needed his signature to close a land transaction, which seemed to convince him.

As they headed out, Josphat couldn't resist asking Kimathi about his relationship with Julia, to which Kimathi revealed that they were in love and planning to settle down.

However, Josphat's true intentions were soon revealed when he asked the nanny to take the children outside, allowing his mother to confront Kimathi about his responsibilities as a father.
