President Uhuru Kenyatta's call to tone down politics on the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report has fallen on deaf ears for Tangatanga leaders.

During a meeting with Mount Kenya leaders at Sagana on November 15, 2019, President Kenyatta urged them to wait for the BBI report instead of making noise about it.

However, the Tangatanga leaders have continued to oppose the BBI report, with some even going as far as to claim that it is a ploy to divide Kenyans.

While the BBI report is expected to be released soon, the Tangatanga leaders have vowed to continue opposing it, citing concerns that it will undermine the country's democracy.

President Kenyatta's call for calm has been met with resistance from the Tangatanga leaders, who argue that the BBI report is a threat to their interests.

As the debate over the BBI report continues, it remains to be seen whether the Tangatanga leaders will eventually come around to supporting it or continue to oppose it.
