Published on November 20, 2019, two weeks after a heated battle during the Kibra by-election, lawmakers Didmus Barasa and Simba Arati were spotted exchanging pleasantries within Parliament buildings.

On Tuesday, the two MPs were seen chatting and walking together, hand in hand, a far cry from their public spat.

Barasa had been backing Jubilee's McDonald Mariga, while Arati was vouching for ODM's Imran Okoth, the eventual winner of the by-election.

Arati had been seen threatening to chase Barasa from a polling centre at Lindi in a video that went viral on social media.
