Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has taken to social media to express his disappointment with Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru's recent interview on Citizen TV's Newsnight.

During the interview, Waiguru stated that the grievances of Central Kenya were not real, a claim that Kuria strongly disagrees with.

On Tuesday, November 19, Kuria took to Facebook to call out Waiguru, stating that the people of Central Kenya are yearning for development and that the region's economy is in tatters.

He alleged that the county, which is a major source of water for Nairobi, is experiencing a severe water shortage, with 10 counties facing the issue.

Kuria also criticized President Uhuru Kenyatta's arrangement with Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, which has led to the flooding of the Kenyan market with milk from Uganda, affecting local farmers.

He claimed that the East African Protocol is being used to finish off Kenyan farmers, subjecting them to unfair competition from Uganda.

Kuria ended his rant by offering to take Waiguru on a tour of Kirinyaga county so that she can see the reality of the grievances of the people.
