Blended families can be a complex and challenging situation, as singer Vivian and her husband Sam West know all too well.

Appearing in an interview with K24 news anchor Betty Kyallo, the couple shared their experiences and insights on navigating the unique dynamics of their blended family.

According to Sam West, one of the key challenges they face is understanding and respecting each other's differences. 'You have to understand who you are. You are different species, it is not a normal family,' he said.

As a blended family, Vivian and Sam West have to balance their individual relationships with each other and their children from previous relationships. 'You have a child, she has a child and the two of them also have to integrate,' Sam West added.

One of the biggest challenges they face is finding a way to incorporate their different parenting styles and come up with a formula that works for both of them. 'We have different ways in which we were used in bringing up our children differently, so that is also an issue,' Vivian explained.

Despite the challenges, Vivian and Sam West have been together since 2017, when they started dating. They later celebrated their traditional wedding in March 2018.
