On November 19, 2019, the Fashion on the Road Cultural Golf tournament took place at the par 71 Muthaiga Golf Club course.
Handicap 11 golfer Sam Gakiria was in top form, carding an impressive 40 points to emerge overall winner, beating men's winner Mwai Mbuthia by three points.
David Geita took the third prize with 36 points, while Kamau Thugge was narrowly beaten on countback.
Kezie Kihara won the ladies' first prize with 32 points, two better than Joyce Kimotho and Rosemary Mkok.
Other winners included Jacob Njeru and Kaburu Mwirichia, who won the nines with 20 and 21 points respectively, and Cecilia Macharia, who was the best junior with 34 points.
At Royal Nairobi Golf Club, Sarah Hoare carded 33 points to claim the overall title during the low-scoring Lady Captain's Prize golf tournament.
She won by one point from Silver division winner Mumbi Ngengi, who carded 32 points, beating Florence Maina and Njeri Kariuki on countback.
Abner Onsomu won the men's category with 37 points, beating Joshua Ichangi, while Gerald Kamau was third on 35 points following a countback with Sunil Parmar.
Naomi Wakesho was the best lady guest with 33 points, one better than Mary Muthoni, and Collins Nzioka was the men's guest winner on 34 points, beating Watson Burugu by two points.
At Nyali, Liban Roba won the November Mug and December Ladies Medal sponsored by Johnnie Walker with 69 nett, while at Nyeri Golf Club, George Kiguta emerged overall winner of the Benjamin Ndegwa Memorial tournament with 41 points.
