Kenyan singer Akothee has been unapologetic about her wealth, often sharing details about her financial journey. In a post from 2019, she revealed that she began from scratch and relied on her hard work to achieve her current status.
Fast forward to a recent weekend, Akothee shared a photo of her dinner in Dubai, where she spent approximately AED 1590, equivalent to Ksh 44,000.
She captioned the photo, saying, 'How much is this in Kenyan shillings plz? that meat was looking like a kidney of a cockroach? Wish I went to a Nigerian restaurant. I guess this is more than Ksh 20,000??? Dubai kwaheri, I have no problem with the price the problem is that I didn’t get full.'
Her fans were quick to react, with some calling her out for being a show-off, while others simply commented with emojis. Akothee is known for not mincing words and has been known to clap back at her critics.
