On a fateful day in 1998, Sally Kimeu's life took a dramatic turn when she was involved in a freak car accident that left her bedridden for nine months. The accident, which occurred when she was just 20 years old, shattered her lower back and left her with a 20% chance of ever walking again.

Despite the dire prognosis, Kimeu refused to give up. With unwavering determination, she focused on her recovery and eventually made a miraculous comeback. Today, she is the Regional Manager at Cisco, East Africa, a position she has held since 2008.

As she recounts her journey, Kimeu emphasizes the importance of setting goals and taking chances. 'Jump and the net will appear,' she quotes a former female manager at Cisco, who advised her to never be afraid to take risks. Kimeu's own mantra is 'when in doubt, act,' a philosophy that has guided her throughout her career.

With a degree in economics from Moi University, Kimeu began her career with a clear vision of making a meaningful impact. Her passion for innovation and creativity has driven her to excel in her role, where she is responsible for managing Cisco operations in the region and leading a team that advances business relations.

As a coach-style leader, Kimeu believes in empowering and inspiring her team members to reach their full potential. Her ultimate goal is to make a positive impact on people's lives, a mission that she has been fulfilling with dedication and passion.

Today, Kimeu is a proud mother of a 17-year-old daughter and a testament to the power of resilience and determination. Her story serves as an inspiration to anyone who has faced adversity and is looking to overcome it.
