On Saturday, Germany comfortably defeated Belarus 4-0, securing their spot at Euro 2020 and marking their 13th consecutive qualification for the finals.
Matthias Ginter was the star of the show, scoring one goal and providing assists for two others. He broke the deadlock in the 41st minute with a clever backheel, before setting up Leon Goreztka and Toni Kroos for their respective goals.
Germany's goalkeeper, Manuel Neuer, made a crucial save from a penalty by Igor Stasevich in the 75th minute, and Kroos added a fourth goal to complete his first national team brace since the 2014 World Cup semi-final win over Brazil.
Germany's qualification was also aided by their arch-rivals, the Netherlands, who held Northern Ireland to a 0-0 draw away from home, ensuring both teams qualified with one match to spare.
As of now, Germany has 18 points, the Netherlands has 16, and Northern Ireland has 14. Belarus, however, still has a chance to qualify through the playoffs of the Nations League, which offers four additional spots.
