President Uhuru Kenyatta's Sagana meeting has left out Agriculture CS Mwangi Kiunjuri, a close ally of DP William Ruto.
According to an official programme seen by Nyakundi Report, all Cabinet Secretaries from the Mt Kenya region have been listed as speakers in the meeting, except Kiunjuri.
As a key ally of Ruto, Kiunjuri has been seen as a possible running mate for the DP in 2022 and a number of Tanga Tanga legislators want him to be the region's next kingpin after President Uhuru.
The programme, dated November 15th, 2019, lists several leaders from the Mt Kenya region, including Cabinet Secretaries, Governors, and Senators.
By excluding Kiunjuri from the programme, President Uhuru's handlers are making sure those opposed to the head of state's agenda are contained and their wings clipped.
