Former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has landed a new role with FIFA, marking the end of speculation about his potential return to club management.
Wenger, who spent 22 years at Arsenal before departing in 2018, has taken up the position of chief of global football development at FIFA.
According to FIFA, Wenger's department will oversee the governing body's football development activities worldwide, including the men's and women's games.
Wenger's new role comes with a significant budget, with at least KSh 612 million ($6m) made available to every football association across the world via FIFA's Forward programme.
