More than 10 Tanga Tanga lawmakers in Jubilee have accused ODM leader Raila Odinga of orchestrating violence in Kibra by-election.

They have demanded that Raila apologize to Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa and former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale after they were attacked and roughed up by youths.

Speaking to journalists at Parliament Buildings, the lawmakers claimed that the youths who attacked Jubilee leaders in Kibra were hired by ODM leaders led by MP Simba Arati.

"We want Raila and his party to publicly declare that violence will not be tolerated in their agenda," said Sol Caleb Kositany, MP for Sol.

"The Director of Public Prosecutions and the Director of Criminal Investigations should investigate this incident and ensure that those who attacked Jubilee leaders in Kibra are taken to court and those affected get justice," Kositany added.

Kimani Ichung'wah, MP, has accused Interior CS Fred Matiang'i and his PS Karanja Kibicho of meeting with Raila a day before the Kibra by-election to plan how to attack Jubilee supporters.

According to Ichung'wah, the three met at a hotel in Karen and discussed how to attack Jubilee supporters and leaders.
