On November 12, 2019, Sarah Cohen made a striking appearance at the Milimani Law court, a departure from her previous court appearances.
She sported a shoulder-length wig, well-groomed eyebrows, and a bold lip color, complemented by elegant earrings. Her outfit consisted of a white blouse, a white scarf, and a black skirt.
Her appearance was a stark contrast to her previous court visits, where she was seen with her hair looking unkempt.
Sarah Cohen was arrested in August 2019 after the decomposing body of her late husband, Tob Cohen, was discovered at their home in Kitsuru.
She had appeared in court for the hearing of her request for the prosecution not to consolidate her murder case with that of Peter Karanja.
However, Justice Stella Mutuku dismissed the objections, ruling that the facts on the two charge sheets were similar.
Wairimu and Karanja have pleaded not guilty to the consolidated charge sheet of murder, denying any involvement in Tob Cohen's death.
Justice Mutuku has ordered the prosecution to supply the defense with a list of witnesses and all witness statements within the next two weeks.
