Manchester United secured a 3-1 win over Brighton and Hove Albion on November 10, 2019, at Old Trafford, moving them up to seventh place in the Premier League table.
The victory marked Manchester United's 12th consecutive unbeaten home match against Brighton in all competitions, with the Seagulls slipping to 11th place on 15 points.
The match got off to a strong start for Manchester United, with Andreas Pereira scoring the opening goal in the 17th minute. His shot from inside the penalty area took a heavy deflection off Dale Stephens, leaving Brighton goalkeeper Matthew Ryan stranded.
Just two minutes later, Davy Propper bundled the ball into his own net as an inswinging free kick from Fred caused chaos in Brighton's six-yard box. The goal was confirmed after a VAR check.
Despite Brighton's efforts, Lewis Dunk pulled one back for the visitors in the 64th minute with a close-range header. However, Marcus Rashford restored Manchester United's two-goal advantage just two minutes later, blasting a shot from 12 meters in off the underside of the bar.
